Counselling Services Shaped Around You
Counselling for adults dealing with addiction, trauma, abuse and difficult life experiences. Choose the way of meeting that feels most comfortable, and we’ll go from there at your own pace.
In-Person Counselling
Sometimes the simplest thing is to sit down in the same room as someone who is fully there for you. In-person counselling gives you a private, quiet space away from the noise of daily life, where you can say what you need to say and take all the time you need to say it.
Many people find that face-to-face sessions help them feel more grounded, especially when talking about addiction, trauma or painful experiences. Being heard in person can be a powerful thing, and it often helps trust build naturally.
Sessions are person-centred and confidential. You set the pace, and there is never any pressure to share more than you’re ready to.
Online video Counselling
Online counselling lets you speak with a BACP-registered counsellor from wherever you feel most at ease, whether that’s your living room, a spare bedroom or any private spot at home. There’s no travel, no waiting room and no need to rearrange your day around a journey.
It suits people with busy schedules, those who live far from a counsellor, and anyone who finds leaving the house difficult right now. You only need a private space, a device with a camera and a reliable internet connection.
The quality of the conversation stays the same. The same trust, confidentiality and careful listening you’d find in a counselling room are all there, just on screen.
Telephone Counselling
Not everyone wants to be seen while they talk. Telephone counselling takes away the eye contact and lets you concentrate on what you want to say. For many people, that makes it easier to be open about things that feel difficult or private.
It’s a simple, low-pressure option. You don’t need any technology beyond a phone, and you can take the call somewhere you feel comfortable and safe.
Telephone sessions follow the same confidential, non-judgemental approach as every other kind of session. Your voice and your words are all that’s needed.
Walk & Talk
OUR PROCESS
How Counselling Works with Me
Get in Touch
Reach out and tell me a little about what’s been happening. Share as much or as little as you like. There’s no pressure and no judgement.
Free Introduction Call
We’ll arrange a free 15-minute call to talk about what you’re looking for and to answer any questions. It’s also a chance to see whether working together feels right.
Choose Your Way of Working
Together we’ll decide whether in-person, online, telephone or walk and talk sessions suit you best, and agree a time that works.
Check In and Move Forward
As we continue, we regularly look at how things are going and what’s changing. If something isn’t helping, we adjust. The counselling follows you.
